Why we travel
A sketchbook made on location argues for itself.
Admissions tutors can tell the difference between images copied from a screen and work made in front of the thing itself. Our China programmes exist to fill sketchbooks with the second kind.
Each route pairs daily drawing with a craft or research strand, then closes with a critique session. Students leave with finished pieces, process documentation and a cultural argument they can defend in an interview.
